How to schedule copying of file/folder from Recent files?
The Recent link displays the list of files/folders, which have accessed recently. You can perform all ellipse functions directly from the Recent File, if you have forgotten to do at My Files page.
You can copy your files/folders from native drive to multiple drives through automated scheduling at regular intervals. You can schedule copying of files/folders on daily, weekly, or monthly basis. It will be automatically copied at the target location on the scheduled time.
- Daily tab copies your file on daily basis on the scheduled time. Enter the time when you want the Scheduler to copy the file daily. The entered time should be in 24-hrs format.
- Weekly tab copies your file/folder on weekly basis on the scheduled time. Select days of a week at which you want to schedule the copying of file at the target drive. Enter the time when you want the Scheduler to copy the file on the selected days of a week.
- Monthly tab copies your file on Monthly basis on the scheduled time. Enter the time when you want the Scheduler to copy the file after a month time.
To schedule copying of file/folder from Recent files, perform the following actions:
- Click Recent menu link at the left pane of ioMoVo dashboard, the recently added files/folders list appear. Or, click ioMoVo sub menu at the right pane and click Recently Added Files link.
- Click the ellipses next to file/folder, the drop-down appears.
- Select Copy option, the Copy dialog box appears.
- Select the target folder/drive where you want to copy the file. Or create a new folder where you want to copy the file.
- You can select override the existing file, if the previous file is no longer needed.
- Click Schedule your Copy check box, in the Copy dialog box. The Continue tab appear at right bottom.
- Enter a name for the scheduler job and set the frequency for copying file on daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Click Schedule. The automatic scheduler is activated for the copying of file at the target location on scheduled time.
Overriding the existing files option will replace the previous files with the existing files.
